Shooting the SS21 Capsule Collection
The Spring/Summer photoshoot and collection was an absolute turning point for Pepper Girls Club. With a boat load of sass, as well as bringing a whole new vibe to the brand, this season has been a total whirlwind for us at Pepper. We're so thrilled we can bring you all along with us.
THE MOOD
Our founder, Charlotte Crosby, had a vision from the very early stages of how the SS21 shoot would look. Coinciding with the brand’s signature nude hues, whilst introducing sharp white settings. We developed a mood board that demonstrated warm sophisticated tones of coffee and caramel, mixed with strong silhouettes with the primary focus being on the model and her accessories.
THE FACES
We really wanted to push expectations by including a real range of women to take part in the campaign, yet they all had one thing in common…confidence. No matter the shape or size of the models, the amount of sass, assurance and attitude they brought to the camera just about blew the roof off. The models represented real women. Just like you and me. 
THE TEAM
We had a hell of a lot of content to capture throughout the shoot day. We’re talking photography, videography and social content to keep you all up to date throughout the day. Crosby was on hand to direct and organise the day’s mental agenda and ensured that the day ran like absolute clockwork. MUAs, Kate Gately and Vicky Hedley, created glowing complexions on our magnificent models and to touch up between shots by photographer, Courtney Paul, and videographer, Liam Beaumont. The day was a complete success as we captured some mind-blowing content whilst the full team was kept entirely safe using the necessary PPE.
THE FINALE
A few days after the SS21 shoot, we launched online. We had NEVER seen a launch like it. We had some very happy customers that managed to get their hands on the pieces they’d had their eyes on.
